Okay, so what's new?
** Resting more comfortably each day.
** Continued walks in the hallway, getting up moving around, and just more movement in general.
** Advancing diet to full liquids today, with the option to have other foods with more substance.
** Doctor is transitioning pain meds from IV administered to by mouth, but still has pain pump if she needs it.
The Doctors are even talking about letting her go home in the near future if things keep progressing the way they have and she gets over certain hurdles (tolerating a full diet, no pain meds through the IV, the pain and nausea are manageable at home, etc.).
All in all, moving in the right direction.

Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI have you in my prayers on a daily basis. I will continue to pray for comfort, doctors wisdom and healing. I poured 100% of myself into our Savior during my event!!! I hope you will find the same comfort in Him that I did. Only He can and will get you through this.
Tim,
You are also in my prayers. I actually think you and Gayla you have the harder jobs as a supportive spouse. Although you have heard this a hundred times by now, I wanted you to know that I am willing to do anything you need. Call me first… I have plenty to give back. You guys were there for me and I want to be able to return the favor.
Isaiah 41:10-NAS
'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
Take care,
